Investigation and Analysis (Canon)
focus group questions;
do you prefer more or less text in a poster ad
what age group of people do you prefer to see in the ads
what catches your eye in ads
what type of photo would draw you attention best, a photo of a person or a photo of a landscape, or potentially both

ANALYIS
from my analysis of both sets of data its clear that it would be best to:
-show information and imagery relating to the product as many of the people answering the questions are not familiar, or don't own a Canon product
-have pictures taken with a Canon camera be the main backing image of the advertisement to show the capabilities of the camera in a visual way
-its clear from my research that people like to see people their own age in adverts so I will use somebody within the age category in my advert, alternatively i may not use a person in the ad at all as from my research I have also found some people prefer to see landscapes in print ads
AUDIENCE PROFILE-
demographics- the demographics we are looking to advertise to in this campaign include:
-all genders, races and wealth statuses
-people aged 16-25
-people who may be looking for a cheaper alternative to a more costly product as they probably don't have a major source of income
-and ideally, people who have just started, left or are currently enrolled in some form of higher education
psychographics-the psychographic of people we are aiming to advertise to are:
-people who have an general interest in photography and or cameras as whole and wish to peruse it either as a hobby or have a career in the field
