IVESTIGATION INTO THE CLIENT AND THE PRODUCT  ONLINE SURVEY RESULTS  focus group questions; do you prefer more or less text in a poster ad  what age group of people do you prefer to see in the ads  what catches your eye in ads  what type of photo would draw you attention best, a photo of a person or a photo of a landscape, or potentially both  FOCUS GROUP AUDIO  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kbZTanyOrqk&t=14s ANALYIS from my analysis of both sets of data its clear that it would be best to: -show information and imagery relating to the product as many of the people answering the questions are not familiar, or don't own a Canon product  -have pictures taken with a Canon camera be the main backing image of the advertisement to show the capabilities of the camera in a visual way  -its clear from my research that people like to see people their own age in adverts so I will use somebody within the age category in my advert, alternatively i ma...

PITCH PRESENTATION AND FEEDBACK AUDIO  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6XCb3iIFvXE analysis of the feedback:  I am pleased with the feedback I received as it was quite positive.  because of the feedback I received, I don't feel I need to change much however if I were to suggest some tweaks of my own, I would perhaps change the the photograph in the print advert to be more similar to the picture below which I have pulled of google, however the setting will obviously be different as I will be my location of choice, I am just referring to the angle and distance the photo was taken from  what I like about this image is the grandeur it creates with the setting and using that high angle to really dwarf the person in the image and make the location seem that much larger, something witch I will attempt to replicate in my print advert.

These contacts are here for legal purposes, if someone was to get hurt, or something was to be broken then these contracts ensure that I cannot be sued if such an event was to occur. The other contracts are consent forms filled in by the property/land owners to prove we have permission to film in that location.  this is a safety hazard form in which I have labelled all the potential risk factors for accidents that could occur during my shoot, as you can see there isn't many as I shot in a rather safe environment however it is still a necessary part of my shoot. this is a location scouting form, this is what I use to show where and what the location that im shooting at is and also the duration of time that I will be using it for, it is also proof of my scheduled filming. This is a personnel list which shows who is/was involved in the shooting for the photos, as it was just me taking the photos I am the only name on the list.   This form is a location release form which is ...

pitch: my initial idea for the print advert is to have an image of a person at a scenic location taking a photo of the scenery. The context of the image is that the person in the image is an aspiring photographer, like the audience and is within the age range for the target demographic which will make it more suitable as the audience can relate to someone their own age. also in the print, there will be a pun tagline such as 'Capture your own future with Canon'. The print advert should look similar to this mock print below  my initial idea for the magazine advertorial is to make an informative article targeted towards beginner and inexperienced photographers, it will mention why this new camera is right for them as beginners to the industry. it will feature pictures of the camera and good high quality photos taken with the camera, instead of the tagline like the print, this advertorial will include rhetoric such as 'is this the camera for you?' or 'can a Canon help...

blue poster feedback red poster feedback green poster feedback   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z6uiCkTz-Rs&t=17s this is the longer video advert it is 2 minutes 15 seconds long but as the video was required  to be 60 seconds or less i had to cut it down  here is the shortened video  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VW-HVKK25Bs video feedback Feedback response-what to build on next time For the blue poster I would make it more obvious that the whole point is that it is supposed to look like a pull up as a big complaint was that it looked blurry rather than like he was doing a pull up.  For the red poster I would'nt change too much as the feedback was quite positive however if i was to make improvements, i would change the angle at which I took the base picture as i think the picture looks like i'm focusing to much on Sean rather than on the basketball which was supposed to be the focus  For the green poster i would change the picture as i think it looks...
